Course Objectives The purpose of this course is to provide students with the relevant and detailed information about the financial investment tools and to develop the ability of students in making financial decisions among financial investments tools considering the advantages and disadvantages of each.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • will be able to explain the principles of stock exchange and bond markets
  • will be able to explain the principles derivative markets
  • will be able to evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of the financial investment tools
  • will be able to calculate and evaluate the returns from the financial invesment tools
  • will be able to choose between the financial investment tools
  • will be able to make transactions in Borsa İstanbul
Course Description Having the relevant and detailed information about the financial investment tools, the students will be able to identify the types of each tools for financing, understand the functioning of the related markets and make financial decisions among financial investments tools considering the advantages and disadvantages of each.
