Course Objectives This course aims to provide basic concepts and sources of law and the judicial organization in Turkey at associate level.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Define fundamental legal concepts, branches, and principles of law.
  • Explain basic legal rules and the application of legal rules.
  • Discuss the relationship between law, justice, and society.
  • Describe the judicial system.
  • Classify the sources of law.
Course Description The fundamental topics of law are: rules of social order, sources of law, branches of law, judicial organization, types of lawsuits, application of legal rules, and basic legal concepts.
